another april

here's an unusual thing... i originally drew this young woman, in my art-class at kilmarnock college, back in 1987-ish(the inspiration was from a 1950's girl's annual, full of adventure stories and horse-riding, as girls are wont to do), and the image was for a bmx bandits gig, that people i was involved with - were putting on at local nitespot Vikki's(i always spelt it the way a girl i knew then, spelled her name)... and here she is again, turning up in some artwork, for my mate Lawrence's band strawberry whiplash - 25 years later. wow. and wow, again.
